Liverpool stance on Kevin De Bruyne transfer as shock offer claim emerges

HUGE NEWS JUST IN: After recently expressing his desire to remain at the top level, Liverpool have reportedly made an offer to sign Kevin De Bruyne, according to a breaking report from Gianluca Di Marzio

Liverpool have not made an offer to sign departing Manchester City attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne this summer. De Bruyne announced last month he will leave the Etihad outfit when his contract expires at the end of the season having spent a decade with the former Premier League champions.

The player, who will be 34 in June, is expected to be in high demand as a free agent with reports suggesting the Reds are among those to have approached his representatives with the offer of a deal.

Sources understands that is not the case with Liverpool’s recruitment team presently training their sights elsewhere to improve a squad that has romped to a 20th championship this season.

Liverpool are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer.
